Stuffed Peppers. Like mom used to make, but Keto. One pot. No Mess. DELICIOUS.
Ingredients:
6-8 Bell Peppers
1.5 lb Grass Fed Ground Beef
20 Drops Onion Flavour @oooflavors @oooflavours
2 Cloves of garlic, crushed
1 t Sage
1 t Thyme
2 t Salt @redmondrealsalt
1 1/2 t Paprika
1/2 T Red Pepper Flakes
2 C Canned Tomatoes (we like to use roasted ones)
1 C Cauliflower, Riced
3 T Hemp Hearts @manitobaharvest
1 C Old Cheddar, Grated
Directions:
Preheat oven at 450°.
Cook beef in skillet with oil of choice (we like Avocado Oil & add onion drops (or real onion) and garlic until browned, then add the tomato purée, canned tomatoes, cauliflower rice, hemp hearts and seasonings.
Cook through.
Meanwhile cut the tops off the Bell peppers and remove the seeds.
Fill each pepper with ground beef mixture and line them up in either a cast iron skillet (which is our preference and makes for easy clean up) or in a baking pan. Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 mins.
Remove the foil, add shredded cheese and bake an additional 10 minutes. .
Garnish with Parsley and Sour cream and serve!
